The Durapost advantage….

If someone had told me I would get excited about fencing a year ago I would have been looking for the men in white coats coming to collect them. As a Landscaper and Garden designer, lugging heavy concrete posts around a garden or digging big holes into heavy clay soil was definitely not one the joys in my life!

Well I have to admit, I was wrong, Durapost did get me excited!

A 25 year guarantee does put a damper on repeat business but here at Gold Landscaping we are customer focused and want to deliver the best products with the highest value to our clients. So even though we may not get called out to replace a cracked concrete or rotted timber post and panels we feel Durapost aligns with our values of Integrity and Customer focused service.

However the fencing panels themselves can be changed should you decide you would like a different style or look to the garden, you would not need to replace the posts, making the job quick and easy and less expensive than a complete rebuild. Perhaps this will be the future of fencing, where complete rebuilds become obsolete.

Durapost is 100% recyclable, has a 600kg loadbearing capability ( a perfect base for installing your living green wall on) and withstands winds up to 110 mph so when the storm hits it won’t be your fencing blown down or destroyed nor your sleep disturbed by the incessant rattling of fence panels against the posts.

Although Durapost is excellent for creating privacy and keeping your valuables, pets and children safe as it doesn't just lift out of the brackets like regular fencing, giving potential thieves easy access, it also caters to the little creatures that inhabit our gardens by strategically placing hedgehog holes in the gravel boards. Allowing a British protected vulnerable species a safe way to navigate getting in an out of the garden.

Unlike other composite fencing that just looks plasticy, Durapost has created a product that closely mimics the graining of natural wood so it works well in any garden design and not just a modern themed garden.

Much to my surprise those same gravel boards can be used to create raised garden beds and even the walls of a shed or the ‘roof’ of a pergola!

Now, while I do understand that not everyone will get as excited as I did about fencing, its a Landscaper’s dream product afterall, but from a customer perspective its low maintenance means no more oiling and painting the fence so maybe you too will be getting a little excited about Durapost.

Gold Landscaping are accredited installers of Durapost and if you are wanting to find out more information about this amazing product then visit our site at www.goldlandscaping.co.uk
